Just adding a brainwave on future proofing the seqtrak. I am installing a copy of windows in a virtual box envronment with the Seqtrak application and backing it up on multiple media. This way I will always have acces to an up and running seqtrak application on any given time in the future.

Well done. I talked myself out of getting a 2nd one (An internal back and forth for nearly 2 weeks). Couldn’t justify it - so bought a Decksaver instead. Now I feel confident taking it out and about.

What I did add, were rubber feet to the bottom, so it doesn’t slide if I press the buttons with one hand.

To learn it better, I’ve been using it in bed in the dark, so I can build that muscle memory.

I didn’t even know about these sample and project packs. Some great content, gongs, cymbals, nature sounds …

I also added some rubber feet to my seqtrak. I forced myself to make music on the seqtrak for a month, it took a while for me before muscle memory kicked in. First time I felt getting old

I recently got MusicKraken while on sale, so I can use a midi controller that doesn’t let you change MIDI channel (nanoKey 2) - to be able to use it for any instrument or synth on the Seqtrak. You can create a template to convert MIDI CH1 to any other Channel before trigger a sound on the SQ. Well worth it.
