Is there any way to prevent a song to be modified when working on pattern mode ?
I explain: I’m making a song in ‘song mode’, leave it to work on some patterns. But each time I select a pattern, it’s replacing the pattern in the song (and I’m not in song mode).
The only way I’ve found (and it’s really boring), is to place the selecting cursor on the last row of the song, the pattern is still modified, but it’s only at the end of the song and not in its middle.
So is there a way to select a pattern without modifying the song ?
Hey! Yeah I understand exactly what you mean and it bugs me so much too. My work around when I want to work on a position is to press stop twice, so it goes to position 00 and then I move up to the scratch pad line with the cursor… It actually takes a bit if the joy out of song mode for me. Again, any help from the pros would be great :)!!
