I’ve uploaded my samples in the AR, but most of them don’t work and just make noise.
C6 says ‘Chunk size error’ on them.
BUT these samples work fine in the Octatrack and can be open by all my audio apps. 44.1, 16 bits.
Bug ?

Are you running the latest C6?
yes
You should open a support ticket and attach one of those .wav files so the devs can debug this.
Good idea !
I’ll open a ticket tonight but,
Am I the only one with this problem ?
Latest AR’s OS, latest C6 version.
How are you sending them, via MIDI or USB? If MIDI, what kind of audio interface?
Have you tried using MIDI instead of USB or vice versa? Are you using a USB hub, and if so have you tried bypassing it?
you could try and re-export the files with a different application than the one you use…
USB: no HUB, and it worked before with previous OS versions.
MIDI: Motu 828 and Motu Micro express. I’ve just tried, C6 exits and chunk size error.
I even try reuploading some samples that are already in, now they get a chunk size error too.
I can still send some samples, but not all…
I think it’s an OS issue, I’ll contact the support.
have you tried uploading a sample without the AR being connected? do you get the same message?
Yes, when I put the sample in C6: it says ‘wave: chunk size error’.
I’ve tried with previous versions of C6: the same pb.
It seems that my files have something wrong in their header, but Wavelab is able to open and repare them. Just have to save them and they are ok for c6.
What is strange is that I’ve used theses samples in Korg ESX and Octatrack…
But problem solved now !
sometimes software do things differently or do things you haven’t asked them to do
glad you got things sorted
