when I reccord something in midi mode on octatrack mkII in chromatic mode it seems that it reccords a much higher pitch that I want, i.e everything sounds ok when playing but when reccording in live mode the pitch is completely off. Any ideas?
You mean one octave on top?
several octaves. I’m trynig to reccord a baseline using dreadbox hades and when I play it via midi everything sounds right but when I reccord and play the reccording everything is several octaves higher.
check the ARP isn’t transposing (and the other threads on this)

problem solved. It was the lfo’s that were assigned to the pitch, that’s the reason for the pitch shift.
