No offense but no. However that is because I make my own patches. Not yet on my new Elektron gear but on my synths and soon on the Elektron gear too. I want my music to be totally original and that requires me to create all my own patches. But what you are proposing sounds great for many people, I think most tweak them anyway.
Yeah, I’d buy em if they are cool sounding and royalty free.
Of course I attempt to make my own patches, but I’m still trying to figure out what VCOs, LFOs and filters actually are/do. Lord knows what will happen when I actually set my first P-lock.
This project is going to move ahead from now and I’m interested to see what kind of sounds you want. And more of your opinions.
Hundreds of quality sounds are already finished and I can’t wait to get the website together and hear your thoughts.
Of course all sounds will be royalty free. The only rule would be no reselling the sounds ‘as-is’ or in another preset pack.
I’m into the idea because I sometimes want a certain sound and only ‘that’ sound.
This will help getting just what you want with no ‘filler’ or redundant sounds.
That’s a great idea and I would definitely buy a few sounds off you
This got me thinking though, how about establishing a community store website where each user could share and sell their own sounds? I’m wondering since I’m sure there are many of us who happen to have some amazing sounds they’d be willing to sell, but simply don’t have the time to compile a larger collection. I know there are countless sample website stores, but what about patches?
