So getting a Digitakt that can sample would cost the same amount as flipping my Rytm Mk1 to an MK2. And this had me thinking, would it be possible maybe in the future to transfer between devices? I could sample with Digitakt then quickly move files to the Rytm. Does the hardware have what it would take for that to happen in a future update maybe?

It’s a good question. It would very smart to have a sample transfer app that works for multiple devices that handles samples import and export. obviously projects wouldnt be possible between devices which would also rule out anthing but raw samples.

From my understanding with SDS this shouldn‘t be a big deal to implement. Whether it‘s a feature that Elektron consider relevant is a different matter, though. I doubt it‘s going to happen.
