An interesting nugget of info I heard yesterday was that tariffs impact the price as it hits the territory , ie wholesale/distributor cost , not the retail cost … so it might not technically go up a full 10% in terms of retail.

Good point.

But …

retail mark up is based on percentage, so prices may rise close to the tariff with added markup. ( From news articles. )
