Why is MD sending midi notes from every pad/machine?

Hey guys, tried setting up MIDI the other day just as an experiment…loaded a MIDI track, sequenced some simple basslines to the DSI Mopho…great!

Only problem is when programming the other pads/machines to play MD patterns, they are sending out notes as well as playing the MD’s own notes. Is there a very simple on/off for this?

I’ve been through the global MIDI settings and read all of the bits of the manual that I can see that might relate, but can’t figure it out. Help!

Try MIDI base channel setting (GLOBAL>CONTROL>BASE CHANNEL) set to -. See pages 58&59 in the manual.
