Whoever designed the new graphic for the LFO Wave and Phase should take a bow. It’s helped so much to quickly to understand what was really going on.

Secondly, Was there a reason why the New tuning capapbilities were limited to -60 down only? if it can go from -60 to +24 , it would be cool to choose your octave range per project. -48 to +36 // -36 to +48 // -24 to +60

I think the sample tune thing is a memory saving practice.

I’m pretty sure at +60 the vast majority of samples would just become a click.

Exactly. I’ve seen a few people mention wanting +60 and it makes no sense.

I mean I could imagine a single sample that uses up all of the Digitakt’s RAM set to +60, resampling, then set it to -60. I cannot imagine the resolution at +60 being good enough to make something other than a bunch of artifacts at -60, but who knows, we can’t test it and I don’t think it’d have many use cases anyway.

I mean all samples are different, in some cases yeah it would be a wet sandwich full of artifacts, but in some cases that can be a nice layer of unexpected sizzle. But I’m still stoked with the current update

Which I’m all for. Would be good to know for sure why Elektron chose not to do so.

Pitching aside, yes - the graphics for the LFOs are fantastic! I’m a product designer, and when I saw that I thought ‘nice work!’. So simple, so effective, and a great way to use the space available for 2 encoders. Hope to see more of this!

Yes, this waveform representation is usefull.

But I don’t like the brackets around the LFO waveform, and the +/- for bipolar seems useless (would be eventually nicer above knobs as said @Ess).
