Quite odd way of making music but anyway… pads or not analog this n that. build your own control system.

I still want more Elektrons though…damn!

How do you trigger your notes?

MIDI to trigger the sherman opens up a whole new world! you can make great kicks this way if nothing else.

the FB responds to MIDI channel 16, so you can load up two MIDI 16 machines on the MD sending f4 and a4. a4 will trigger the AR envelope - you won’t hear sound unless you trigger it. f4 will trigger the adsr. combine the two for interesting patterns!

plock the mod wheel, aftertouch, breath, foot control, and pitch bend for some fun!

here’s the MIDI chart:

you can also send the adsr out of the FB into the MD to trigger it…

BTW, since you have both OT and MD would you mind testing the MIDI on the OT to trigger the FB? if i send a4 on MD, i have to use a5 on OT. everything is up an octave. it’s really weird and i don’t know if it’s my setup or the machines.

Yes i have tried midi triggering turning on and of and such. Im familiar with the chart it helped alot. its now posted on the wall among other good sheets.
i should work more on triggering from the ot, unsure of with keys at the moment. its a beast anyway : )

Hats off to this performance. :+1:

Try that technique with a pattern of short trigs too, it is way cool. Nm, I see that you are!
