I think these ones are heavy enough for defense and for zombie smashing

If we’re going for heavy, can’t forget the Yamaha GX-1!

I’ve had a few sessions with a Sub Phatty of just making sci-fi laser sounds. They’re always beefy in the low end so I’d take that. Plus it’s kinda portable and dense, so that helps.

A Serge synth will kill any zombies in the area with its sonic waves …

PD: but it’s important to be a 4U banana Serge to have the real zombie killing experience … An eurorack Serge will also kill the zombies but it won’t be the same …

a TB-303 would make me want to off myself effectively giving in to them so that is currently the plan.

Or deploy two Serge synths on opposite sides of the zombie horde, patch them together with banana cables but do not connect their ground jacks

Zombies all get caught in the ground loop! Mwahahaha!

I think I’m going Minimoog Model D. That just seems like the synth that is most capable of producing the brown note. It’s hard for 100 zombies to chase you when they are all shitting their pants.

Another option would be to drop thousands of OP-1’s from a helicopter to the zombies to use them. After several months of excitement, the zombies would gradually enter an apathetic period generated by seeing the frustrations of the device.
Finally, the zombies would end up stopping eating and moving and they would all die of sadness …

Then you’d be left with a Cortini type who would flourish, then lead!!! Don’t take the zombies for fools, they have time to learn, no jobs or obligations or GAS….

Kurzweil K2600 rack version, throwable from above at 11kg, destroys everything on its way to the target (trample damage), including the target, has sharp edges for extra cutting points and can be equipped with rack ears for an increased attack surface.

If you can wield 33kg, then the X 88 key version can be used as a two-handed blunt weapon, no sharp edges. If thrown from above, it can hit multiple targets at once.

In terms of killing by sound, EaganMatrix set to random values and parameters at loud volume is unbeatable. Triggered by light touch! Instant kill by ear, don’t forget to wear ear protecting headphones - only works if the target still has its head on its shoulders.

I feel like if that’s not the case, that particular zombie has probably done with being a threat.

The true answer is the Waldorf Blofeld desktop. It’s compact, heavy as fuck, and has all sorts of really solid and long sharp edges. I bet I could screw it to a piece of wood and sharpen its edges into deadly razors.

A Synth which can do the powerful Sub basses

Anyone in the Seattle area want to set up a sound system to rattle the EDM zombies?
