I’m new here and could use some help or a point in the right direction. I recently bought a secondhand DN and I’m trying to connect it with an M-Audio Oxygen Mini 32. The basic configurations seem to be set correctly on both devices: the DN is set to receive notes on auto channel 10, and the MIDI option for input is enabled. On the Oxygen Mini, I’ve selected channel 10. The cables I’m using are new (both the adapter and the MIDI cable connecting the Oxygen’s MIDI output).
I’ve tried multiple times and have changed configurations, but nothing seems to work. I’ve even reset the DN during the process. Any suggestions on what I might be missing? I know this might be a basic issue, but I’m considering trying a different keyboard if I can’t get this to work.

Hi, I just looked and that midi controller needs a type A (TRS) midi cable, that’s what roland uses I think. Meanwhile for reference arturia uses type B. So depending on where you got your midi cable adapter, that may be the problem. If you bought the cable online, double check to make sure it was type A and go from there.

That could be exactly the issue. Since it’s not clear whether the adapter I have is a Type A or B, I’ve just ordered a Type A to be sure. I’ll post updates once it arrives. Thanks for the help!

Ok no problem, hopefully that’s all it is. I got the information from the M-audio website so I don’t doubt the accuracy. Good luck, I hope it works for you and luckily those adapters are cheap!
For the record, the correct type A adapter arrived yesterday. I just tried it, and it worked fine. Thanks for all the help!
