The Benson delay has become my delay of choice. I’ve had it for over a year and it’s just so awesome. It has a certain trashy/lofi vibe that I just adore and if you set the mix to 100% wet and have the time and repeats all the way down, it does a really amazing compressed lofi vibrato sound using the LFO parameters. You can see that demonstrated in the Cyberattack video here. He noted in a recent video about the Shallow Water that he prefers the Benson to the SW for that lofi sound, which I was surprised to hear (not having ever owned a SW).
Monotron delay sounds so good. One of the best lofi delays out there and the filter sounds so good here. A revamped big box version of it would be a no-brainer purchase for me I think.
Holy shit. This sounds amazing. I need to break mine out more often. Too many delay choices and I always forget I even have one of these. Hell, everyone should.
Donner white tape
Two analog delays in one box with no other features. Sounds really good to me and instant stereo interest to the ears because they are never exactly in sync
Also you can obviously feed one into the other in mono.
Low quality build and switch I wouldn’t spend much on it
