Where's the VST for Ableton Overbridge 1.0?

It was working fine in the beta. I didn’t see an updated VST included with 1.0.

Checked all folders? I’m sure mine ended up in a 64 bit sub directory despite telling the installer to put into the standard VST directory I use.

I got the VST but not the AU; it installed in /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST/ as expected on a mac, so you could check there. Not sure if the AUs are just missing or purposely left out (pending logic support), but if mac, make sure you are actually trying to open a VST for now.

Also, the beta AU, which remained in place, won’t work with 1.0, it turns out – you just get the mysterious red light. This caused me a lot of puzzling! FR: an actual error from the plugin on version mismatch.

There is no AU in 1.0, only in the beta at this time…

Make sure that all your overbridge supported devices are OFF. If they are one then for some reason the VST pkg don’t get installed. I had my A4 on the first runs and did not get the VST plugins as well. I turned off my A4, did a deinstall, rebooted my MacPro and reinstalled again and the VST plugins showed up.

Same here.

I’ve manually deleted previous VST version in my VST folder and reinstalled OB 1.0.

Now OB Plugin is the 1.0 version and all is ok.
