perhaps Elektron would extend a 10% discount due to extended wait on either AK or a future purchase, since someone is earning interest on that large deposit pending? I rather know that Elektron maintains excellent build quality than outsourcing to where there may be massive volume of product in large runs with sacrificing quality control.

Totally agree, I am more than happy to wait for perfection. Being in Australia though, we are bound to the local distributor so there is no getting in on the first run goodness.

Well, as predicted, Guitar Center has pushed back the expected arrival date. They’re now showing an estimated arrival of April 07…
One of the the recent videos from Musikmesse had Cenk saying that Elektron had dealt with the supply chain problems, but sure doesn’t sound like it to me!

My local retailer is also waiting for a batch. I am also eager to buy one of these there. Now with OverBridge coming soon this synth will be so versatile like no other at the moment.
The Keys was announced for the 13th of December last year and since then the waiting has no end.

Sweetwater told me that date last Friday. I don’t know that these dates mean anything and it seems that they would rather overshoot it and deliver them “early”.

Ahah, are they using the same excuses I sometimes use for my company ? 
But not too much.
I ordered the AK some weeks ago, and my distributor (Europe) told me today that they have no idea when the shipment will arrive (apart from the usual commercial gambit : “oh yes, probably certainly maybe in April” Anyway, having already an A4, I am not in a hurry.
JUST heard from my Sweetwater guy, and he said mid-April.
This is ridiculous. My sub37 is probably gonna show up before my keys…and that’s messed up.
starting to really regret selling my octa so early.
No gear only software right now, itchin so bad for the keys.
Elektron just posted on Facebook that the keys are back in stock. When asked about retail, they replied that retail units starting shipping last week.

Nope they are all the same, there just were shortage on parts.
