almost everytime i switch on my analog heat unit my external hard drive disconnect, this is only happening with analog heat, i never had any problem of this kind before.
I have an external hard disk from : g- drive of 2 terabyte which is connected to a powered multi usb socket . im wondering if there is a problem of too much electricity going on or is the analog heat the problem
It sounds like you’ve reached the bandwidth limit of that usb buss so the computer is dropping a device. If you have another USB port try splitting up connections and plug some stuff into that…
I thought it was my USB hub.
I have a d link 7 port powered USB hub

I have connected :
Mouse, external hard disk, analog4 USB, analog heat USB., korg sq-1 USB, ableton push.
Is probably that this USB hub doesn’t give much power to all those devises at once.
Would you know of any other USB hub more powerful than the one I have?
