When changing tracks, pattern changes with it. Linked?

Hi!
I’m a singer and use the octatrack live to sample my voice.
I use the octatrack in flex mode and record my voice during a performance. So no pre-pepaired samples.
I never had this problem before until yesterday: scale set up is set to ‘per track’.
When i change to pattern 2 in track 1, let it play and go to start track 2, it turns to pattern 2 as well.
So the patterns look linked and change together.
In other words, if track 1 is set to pattern 3, track 2 is in the same pattern. Not with the same trigs but the same pattern and scale!
I hope I explained it well enough.

Hi Libbieloop,

Actually this is the normal behaviour of the Octatrack : all tracks always play the same pattern. However each track can have a different number of step (this is what scale setup ‘per track’ does).

So im afraid there is no way to make tracks 1 and 2 play a different pattern
