What's Your Ultimate/Favourite 2x Elektron Set Up And Why?

Currently I dream of AR+A4+OT, but if we talk about 2, I might go with OT + A4, because A4+OT will make good drums while OT+AR might miss on the melodic part and A4+AR will miss the OT Awesomeness.

I was comfortably content with my OT+AR. I have a couple of non-Elektron synths and still much to learn/explore about the whole rig.

But now I want an A4. Dammit.

I don’t like to pair them somehow.
I dislike saving and opening projects on multiple devices.
I use them all just as standalone.
Which might explain why I have so much unfinished demos on A4 and DN

Best Elektron pairs

Yep, two is the magic number I have found. I liked the A4 & MD pair because they were so sonically different, they covered a lot of frequencies, tonalities. The drums cut through in a nice musical way. Right now OTMKII and DN is my ideal pair because I just love the Digitone and the OT MKII gives me MOAR DIGITONE by sampling it, often in full 8 voice stereo unison. Together, I get 12 tracks of Digitone. And Scenes!!

funny, I actually like this when it’s on the 2x A machines or 2x Digi machines… I give them the same project names and duplicate the process… makes me feel like a scientist with all the addictive clicking.
I like to wait until someone is about, usually my girlfriend, to perform the multi-save, I think it makes me seem a lot more intelligent than I actually am. You can’t put a price on that.
