Now I want one back too
looks clean that wan. very nice
Now I’ve got Peaches & Herb stuck in my head so, thanks for that.
This one found me. From its first owner with barely any usage and dust!
Intention: Saturate and summing.
Lovely - probably also awesome to be used as a distortion unit?
Congrats!
I see you’ve constructed a new Commodore. Your training is complete:
ALMOST!
Keybed arrives Wednesday…
Onward LE, CIOKS SOL and Pedaltrain Nano+
My first pedalboard
CIOKS SOL is perfect for my setup as I can power my small eurorack input rack…
so why does the modular do?
I convert gain the level up to line level and at the same time get an envelope, trig, gate and v/o signal which I can send to the pedals as CV/Expression. I have only dabbled a little with the CV side, but it’s great fun!
Onward was way more fun that I thought it would be, tried playing some guitar through it and I got lost for half an hour while I was supposed to get some dog food for the dogo.
Here’s an audio snippet without onward. I’m doubling the audio signal via Samara and phase invert the signal and mixing them creating a really weird distortion.
Intentions:
- cleaner recordings
- messy filter action
- assertive air band noise
- massive compression of dirty material
Hoover?
Miele
Looks like T. E.
Well that sucks!
Isn’t it funny to see home utilities start to look like come from sci-fi films?
My Miele vacuum is nearly 20 years old and still going strong!
Do these old machines sound much more dusty?
Only on the first run units, they‘ve messed with the converters afterwards because some people complained about bass loss.
More noisy, for sure!
Mine still has 2000W motor although I imagine the more modern, efficient motors suck just as well.
love the the ultra wide dust filtering of the XL nozzle. especially on woody textures. very effective with zero latency.
pretty hyped on how i’ve got my circuitry station organized. i got the erica synths labor in the other day and i needed a way to organize my spare bits and bobs. went to goodwill yesterday on the way to a park and found these two organizers! the wood one is basically exactly what i wanted, only $8. and of course the plastic one is pretty basic, but its also exactly what i wanted and it was $3. goodwill has been serving me well this year
