Coins are great, but may I also recommend a nice skin moisturizer for all your Soma Labs gear needs? Manly, yes, but I like it too.
Moisturizer is going to get your nice equipment greasy. I don’t have any Soma Labs gear, but I have a Microfreak, and I rinse my hands in hot water and dry them briefly before playing it, which seems to work with the capacitive keyboard.
That’s why I go with the non-greasy and recommend it. A non-greasy moisturizer will also reduce the amount of natural skin oil that you get on your gear. Not using a moisturizer will actually get your equipment more greasy.
This arrived today:
Intention: Put it on everything 
First I will connect it to the stereo out of my submixer and try out every synth and drum machine that I own… and then I will decide what the best use it.
Still needs to warm up to room temperature though. Waiting sucks!

I sorta broke my rule for buying gear in 2021. I picked up this BIM in a trade, but after buying a piece of gear I had no intention of using. Anyway, that’s neither here nor there.
I’m not counting this one on the synth gear category. Found this minty PMD-430 on eBay by pure chance. It took a detour on its way to me, but all is good. It even came with this blank tape. I’ve never seen one with a metal frame – heavy metal tape!
