Anyway you’d be willing to share where you found that? I was going to go another route to get my M:S mounted similarly but frankly I’m lazy and would rather just buy something.
Thank you! I swear I tried every search term on earth besides “adapter” lol…I feel dumb now.
Welcome home! <3
Traded late last year as I was only using it for playing back long samples. But, with the DJ mixer in this week, I’m happy to have her home. I’ll enjoy feeding the modular into it. Was really hoping for a black one but they’re not going to be in stock at my local shop any time soon. I’m not so hung up on color that I would wait months to be reunited. Sexy as that black is, the battle ship grey always sat well with me.
Now to setup my MIDI Fighter Twister this time so I can really take control.
Battle ship grey is where it’s at!
I’m interested to hear how you approach feeding modular into it. I like doing that too, but my biggest hangup when it comes to recording samples is how much I love letting modular sequences evolve for longer periods — I feel like I’m selling my patch short if I just grab a small section of it as a sample. But of course once you get it into the Octa, it’s fair game for mangling and can continue to evolve, so I gotta let that hangup go.
It will be a new process for me for sure and it will need the DJ mixer to complete the picture (for the stereo sends). It should finally be in this week. My modular’s pretty simple though. DFAM, SubHarmonicon then Marbles, Rings, Stages, Veils, Clouds, Blades. I just posted a Mother 32 and Elements for sale and Maths is going back in its box for the time being. So I don’t have a really big modular environment. The intention here would be to grab shorter loops from DFAM, SubH and Mutable chain then live jam variations for interplay. I’ll have to see where it goes from there.
“The Octatrack will makes good synths do great things” ~someone, somewhere probably
Hoping to explore that statement a bit.
This module always gets overlooked. Such a great Swiss army knife module. Especially considering the price.
ow mein goth, this thing’s slick factor is through the roof & off the scale.
intention: further downsizing my live rig.
I just tried it as a sub octave generator for for the Brenso. Awesome sauce!
It’s a nice looking and feeling module too
Now I just need a few more for all of the other things it does.
What do you think about it in comparison to the original Circuit that is…sitting right there looking jealousy at the Tracks?
i think they’ll be a super cool pair.
OG has one cool feature that Tracks (currently?) lacks — chaining patterns in arbitrary order.
also, both OG and Tracks can be used for finger drumming jobs — but seems like i’ll prefer OG for that just because i’m really used to its pads. Tracks’ pads are significantly more responsive – and this can be a problem (at least without fair amount of practice).
btw, besides OG, i have two Circuit Mono Stations
A comfortable bar stool next to the bar desk, infront of the front window,
where I sit all day playing my digitakt,
while looking out the window for the delivery guy to pass by with my new

Ordered a Cosmotronic Delta-V for my little euro skiff. Next up: Klavis Twinwave or Benjolin v2! Both eventually
Nothing super fancy for me today, but those new speaker stand I just received are making a nice difference to the stereo image of the already sublime Footprint01 ! It was also a good excuse to clean up the cable mess behind the desk hahaha.
You’ve got such a rad studio dude. That Verbos system back there looks awesome, and is that a small Serge system sitting down there as well?
Thanks ! I think i’m quite alright indeed at the moment hehehe.
It’s indeed a two panel Serge system that you spotted, a Mantra and TKB from Random Source.
Picked up a Bluebox from @lawmore
Intentions: mix sources together. Learn the format to see if Blackbox is of interest (looking promising so far). Learn EQ and compressor basics. Be excited about updates. Fill up my small space with sources for this guy.
Sold my Zoia a few weeks ago–picked this up on Perfect Circuit’s recent sale. Have to say so far it sounds great, is lots of fun and for me, at least, feels much more intuitive!
