What's this menu shortcut?

Hello, I’ve discovered some sort of shortcut menu I’ve never seen previously but I can’t get it to do anything. Basically to get there you need to be in step record mode for a sound, and while holding an activated trigger rotate the level knob. It brings up a sound selection menu but all of the slots have an exclamation mark. Can’t load or do anything here. Anyone know how to work this menu?

i had never seen it, i just tried here it navigate through all the sounds available for the type of machine is on the track
thanks for sharing this shortcut!

Hi, this menu indicated the sample list of a trig, in 1 pattern you can have differents samples in differents trigs, (one sample for trig)

No, that menu is the sound pool. The sounds in this menu can be called by the function Sound-Lock and the exclamation mark means you can not trig the sound on that track.
The list of “sample” can be found at page sample.

I noticed this shortcut too. It works on the BD1 pad. Somekind of presets for the synth of the bassdrum?

folks, it’s not a shortcut, afaik it’s the slower of the (only) two available means to achieve this Sound Locking, it’s more likely that the realtime method is not documented but this step record method will be, as mentioned, only compatible sounds can be auditioned on various tracks, changing tracks will allow you lock the other sounds in the pool not compatible with the current track - it’s easier on A4 as all pool sounds play nice on all tracks - plus, you can sound lock on any trig, whether currently lit or not btw
