What's the Best Resource You've Seen on Drum Programming?

This might be too simple for where you’re at, but I loved this “how to write drums parts for non-drummers” video.

You’d be surprised! I’m open to anything no matter how basic or advanced. Also, I’m hoping this thread can grow into a repository for this type of knowledge for both beginner and advanced knowledge on the subject.

I’m following too with interest.

This one is an excellent starter.

One thing I do sometimes is pull a drum loop I like into my DAW, put together a kit of one shot samples I like, and then recreate the loop with my samples. Helps figure out how little bits of groove that I like work.

I’ll say it again but The Breakbeat Bible by Mike Adamo is awesome. I also just ordered Electronic Dance Music Grooves by Josh Bess mentioned earlier in this thread and I will report back how it compares. I’m hoping for more 4 on the floor stuff.
