OH MY GOD I’M LITERALLY SO EXCITED!! What’s NEXT for Elektron?
It feels like things are ramping up, not down. Is something else coming? It is, isn’t it. Oh man I’m going to need to find a mattress full of cash if this keeps up…

Sell your Polyend Pl… oh wait
LOL
my only hope of keeping up is to think about what’s NEXT NEXT
No, no 2.0 updates for hardware. Overbridge is another matter.
2.0 would be unimaginable, like the ending of 2001: A Space Odyssey (1968).
I trust the only Elektronaut with a verified 1.0M posts read and the cognitive fortitude to have most of them somewhere in the ol memory banks on speed dial.
Cheers to Mr. Hanes on an easily overlooked milestone.
What’s next for Elektron?
Analog Four MKII Update
somehow doubles polyphony.
Quite the feat.
Each voice has 2 oscillators… paraphonic mode anyone?
aaaaand we’re off!
Just imagine the SID machine and HH Designer on syntak
Can we please rename this thread “What’s not next for Elektron?” ?
heyyy how did u know?
Guess based on last year, which seemed like a successful drop!
What if you could internally route the 4 midi tracks to trigger lets say the ASiD SiDmachine instruments (in a way like recently added to the RYTM) Somewhat like the SY, where you can pick per channel whichever machine you fancy?
Since DN is FM, i think it will do perfect justice.
Maybe throw in some SegaFM as well just for spoils, or make it Talk like the monomachine (wink wink)
Anyways thanks @Elektron
Cheers
Anybody got a timeline of all elektrons updates to their devices?
Would be curious if there is a pattern…
I think Electron will do a big RYTM update next.
Edit: Holy Shit I was right!
Thanks to the 1.7 update for my AR, I can’t help but wish for a Euclidean sequencer on all my other boxes…
Damn this guys good
I was playing with my digi boxes today with a friend and he asked, is it possible to control multiple filters with on knob, like a CTRL-ALL for multiple devices, of course I said no not without some other multichannel MIDI controller.
This made me think of a new product that is like a live performance oriented box that has some mod matrix like system that can control specific parameters on specific tracks. With 8 knobs with multiple “pages” you could have many performance macros mapped to multiple boxes. Imagine also adding a sequencer, LFOs, performance oriented FXs.
Edit: maybe there is a way around the 16 channel limitation?
