Hey de wouzer, what kind of music do you make? I also use Maschine/Komplete as well as an Octatrack and Rytm. But I find they excel at different things and I generally use them completely separately.

My Maschine setup is for commercial projects as well as some hip-hop and dance. Overall it gives me a million more synths, effects, etc. - much quicker to get a certain polished sound, recall and bounce projects easily, etc.

My Elektron setup is for my personal music. It takes me in weirder directions, and limits me in ways I like. But depending on what you’re currently doing with Maschine, it might feel jarring to suddenly be working with a single Elektron machine.

So to answer your question, I’d say that Octatrack is a good first choice if samples are a big part of your music. But it’s the hardest to learn fully of the Elektron boxes, IMO. What do you mean by “no update for vst”? There are no plans to allow it to run plugins, if that’s what you mean. It’s also not going to have Overbridge.

If you can say a little more about the type of music you want to make, people might be able to give you better suggestions.
