Hi everyone,
My trig 9 is always lit up blue.
When i try to play a note in record grid mode, i can’t use that trig on any track.
Has anyone else encountered this problem?
Even if i quit the project to create a new one, the blue trig remains lit, and in record grid mode, pressing it highlights the trig, please hlep me o don’t inderstand it at all.
Welcome @bluetrig.
This trig seems faulty.
So does it have any action ?
Does it mute / unmute in Mute mode ?
Please contact Elektron support.
The trig does work correctly, i can mute the track, just i can’t create event on the trig when i use the grid mode record, i don’t know if write above when i record while playing with the keyboard trig, i haven’t tried. I sent my problem to support elektron, i’m waiting answer.
I have the same problem! It’s my step 2 button though.
Is there an LED test for the Tonverk like on other boxes?
I’ve feeling it’s software issue. Does the light on your trig 2 react when u press it in record mode? Is the blue light less intense? Did you update to version 1.2.1? I’ve been experiencing this since then. I’ve also noticed that when i turn on the TV, all trigs light up white except for my trig 9, which is already blue.
I also have a blue trig
There is a LED test, I had Elektron support help me test my Tonverk.
Basically, faulty trig LED. They asked me to send it back for repairs.
Good luck!
What is the procedure ?
- go to settings menu
- press: track + arp + mute + fill
After doing this, all my trigs on the Tonverk turned red, except for the three that had issues (for me it was 3, 11, and A# trigs).
Sure
Minor question I’ll put here instead of in a new thread:
My Tonverk seems fine in terms of lighting, but the CHORD button doesn’t quite illuminate the full word**. Normal? The C and D in “Chord” are outside of the light, and it just looks odd.
Super minor, I have no problems living with it, but honestly curious if it’s just mine or common.
** - I mean in standard operation, after booting, not in any specific mode (CHORD or otherwise).
Cool, I’ll try this when I get back home just to get ahead of any issues I haven’t noticed.
You may be in HOR mode. ![]()
Seems normal to me, just the way Elektron buttons are made and how light go through text longer than 3 letters, especially for wider button caps (same switches for all).
I had faulty LEDs on my first TV. It went off to Elektron, back to retailer and then something weird and undisclosed happened and the retailer sent me a new unit.
Thanks sanktdavid, i proced this test LED, my trig doesn’t light up, go to the reseller to activate my warranty.
Thanks for this!
But now I know I’m screwed.
Got it from sweet water but didn’t get around to using it (and then wondering if this trig led was malfunctioning) until a month or so after I bought it.
What’s the experience (correspondence, expense, duration) getting the LED repaired?
For me, it was a two and a half month wait, and in the end the retailer sent me a new unit - they had to as the warranty stipulated that the repair window was two months. They told me (eventually, when I had chased them several times) that they had received the repaired unit and just had to test it and ship it, but this never happened.
I was unable to find out what actually happened. They were reluctant to send me a new unit but seemed to be making stuff up. Testing the unit would have been quick and easy but they didn’t do it.
I got the same dreaded thing unfortunately. Emailed both my retailer and Elektron themselves, hopefully I can get back to jamming soon.
