What’re your musical holy grails?

When I was 23 months old, my parents recorded me singing a Eurovision song from that year. I heard the tape, but it was lost a few years ago. Who knows, maybe Ill find it somewhere. Does that count?

Autechre live from 2007 and 2008.

@crevice sorry it seems that i unintentionally responded to your post for no reason

Mine was /is -

i searched for their album cover, was still thinking i get a tatto of it, but found they did a small revival tour - got to see them in 2011 while they disbanded 1989.

That was one of my luckyiest days ever - they came to Frankfurt. I have two of these Vinyls for backup purposes. Blue Vinyl , only 1000 copies ever made.

Yes this is it, my holy grail. My music is heavly influenced by their works.

Ok and this:

Deftones were working on a record that was scrapped before their bassist was involved in an accident that eventually led to his death. It was scrapped, and the follow up Diamond Eyes is one of the best records they ever put out - but I’ve always wondered what Eros sounded like, especially since one of the tracks was leaked.

On a similar “scrapped album” note, Hybrid were working on an album after Disappear Here that was scrapped when Chris Healings left. They released a preview WIP that sounded brilliant, and while I’ve really enjoyed everything they’ve released since I’ve always been curious about this one.

All the unreleased early Mala/Digi Mystikz dubs… so happy this finally got a release last year

Holy Shit! I found the exact one on da tube! Rad!

Edit: The recording is super good on this. The tape I got was probably copied a shit ton of times!

:man_shrugging:

Early 2000s i used to dream (actually dream, while asleep) of a collab between Supermodified era Amon Tobin and Geogaddi era BoC. It sounded majestic. I’d like to hear that for real one day
