I think that the new model instrument wants to cover monomachine and machinedrum. The idea is that you sample it in Rytm or Octa when you need that sound.
Regarding Octatrack MK3 I don’t know…They can do it but probably will not.

I would love a machine fully focused on vocal or vowel synthesis. It might require there to be enough extra space in there for a new set of wave tables though so I am not sure if that is possible

You can kinda do this with the delay already but then you cant use regular delay…

Would be cool… but check out the Liven 8bit Warps… perfect machine to pair with the Cycles, especially for performance… and it has a strong Elektron black box vibe too.
