I have recently bought my Syntakt and try to learn it (it is my first Elektron gear 
)
I have always struggled to tune my drums while using software drum machines, and this tradition didn’t change on the Syntakt
Do you know what is the default tonal (when Tune know is at 0) of analog and digital drum machines? Is it C?
Other than that, I would appreciate if you share your tips about tuning the drums Especially, tuning balance of kick and snares.
One more thing is Snare sounds. I try to create “acousticy”, big, hard-hitting snares. However, Syntakt’s machines felt me that they are more hip-hop or House kind of thing. Do you have any trick to achieve that (Machine and settings suggestions etc.)? For example, I want to hear something like Schwefelgelb used in their tracks like Durch Die Haare Die Stirn, Fokus etc.

This is a matter of taste imo but people tune their kick drums to the root note of the track’s scale. Snares are generally whatever as far as I’m concerned 
Try SD Acoustic from the analog snares. You can get quite beefy with that and you can always layer it with another one
