Its been a while and i was wondering if Elektron decided to not include the Ring Mod base drum finally.
Suprised there is not more interest in this. Any new machines would be most welcome and the ring mod one was teased months ago.
Pretty sure it’s coming eventually. There were rumours about more drum sound machines coming. Perhaps it’s just taking them longer than expected…?
elektron probably has all manpower dedicated to get overbridge done until the end of this year.
being the first major feature available for 3 machines my bet is that they have a hard time to unify the firmwares so they dont have to maintain 3 separate overbridge features - just a guess. I wouldnt expect to see any new AR features before 2015 Q2.
Some new machines and possibly an update to the cymbals would be nice, still not that keen on them
The cymbals need some plockin’ and LFO love to come to life…
