Caution! Take some real wood, not the industrial plastic imitation!
Well, at least that’s my own preference ^^

Farrow and Ball do some really nice colours. Shame it’s so expensive, but I guess you get what you pay for!

Black, helps you hear better. Er, make the bass tigher too? It’ll piss the missus off, that’s for sure.

Have a look at Craig & Rose too. A lot cheaper than Farrow & Ball but often just as good. My walls at home are mostly a mixture of those two companies.

When I selected wallpaper on my condo wall, I had to do a 3D sim in C4D because I couldn’t trust myself to imagine it right. It worked out well though. If it’s just paint, I would also try taking picture of the room and work with Photoshop. Anyway, good luck and let us see how it turn out!

I loved my Nanoleaf setup, and it suited my space perfectly. Then it started malfunctioning, resetting itself to all white more and more frequently and getting more difficult to connect to. It may very well be its reliance on internet and my shitty internet (don’t ask), but whether it was defective or not, it went into the garbage. I had to have that wall re-painted due to the adhesive. I do miss it, but they need a model that can function decently in a standalone mode before I’d spend that much money again. I put a Philips Hue in that area (I have two others that have never been a problem), and with the right arrangement and placement, its choice of one color/brightness at a time has been better than nothing. Plus, it’s got a battery backup, which I forgot about until we had a long power outage.

wtf… Nanoleaf requires internet… who buys stuff that needs a server you are not controlling.

I recommend building your own. WLED and APA102 LED Strips + ESP32 are your friend. Setuptime is low. Very cheap. Results are awesome.

Brown. The same warm creative energy with a rustic nature vibe.

Brown is the best color. Med-Dark grey is the best shade.

I don’t have any schooling/professional background. I just know what is good

I’m a slightly dark brown and light blue man, personally

French Gray is lovely and you can’t go wrong with that. I compared this recently with old white and preferred their old white colour.
