I dont really require external inspiration for making music. Its something I must do, it builds up inside organically. I cannot ever see myself not making music anymore to be honest.
Sure enough, I do get inspired by lots of music I hear, but it itself doesnt motivate me to make music (especially not anything which sounds like the stuff I heard, anyway). Free time is all that is required for music to happen

Abadirs music is something I probably donāt strive for to create but it always hits me.
Zuli too, but his style is really inspiring to me and something I could try to incorporate.

Jodey Kendrickās album Plus Ten came up on shuffle yesterday and reignited some of that initial spark I felt in getting into making tracks. A lot of that early 90s sounding stuff falls into a similar category.

I finally took the time to listen to Skee Maskās '24 āResortā ā loved it. Between Blawan and Skee last year, I feel like finally we finally got fresh, exciting, high-water mark electronic albums again after what felt like more than a few dull years (but maybe it was me).

half way into it, and itās justā¦ too nice.
Her music is what got me into that leftfield, glitchy or experimental music even, before listening For You And I, my ears and brain just werenāt comprehending any kind of that glitchy structure and textures.
Possibly because I like the sensibility in her music and when I hang on to something as āspecialā to me, sensibility is a big part of it.
Probably why Underworld got me into electronic music in general.
Anything on the Northern Exposure mixes and that whole mid-90s sound, Sasha&Digweed, Quivver, Rabbit in the Moon, etc.
Also, in a different vibe, any minimal house by Terry Lee Brown Jr. Heās pretty much the reason I decided to focus on sampling not synth, techno etc.
