Massive up to that DJ Richard album in particular which I think did not get nearly enough love.
Thanks to both of you I just bought the record… Along with the 7th Plain Comp on A-Ton
Can’t quite get these out of my head :
^^Beautiful times and memories.
Reminds me of going to Deep Space, at The Paddocks in Holborn.
She’s just such a genius.
If you haven’t already, listen to her RBMA podcast.
Some really amazing insights into her processes.
Cheers for this. I’ve just ordered the Vinyl.
Really reminds of early 90’s Black Dog.
Yeah definitely got that early Warp vibe, niiice
EDIT: this tune is great man, nice choice, didn’t want it to end!
Nice one, not heard this!
And yeah, she is a genius - I use that term very sparingly, but she is a musical genius, no doubt in my mind. I actually think she has somehow managed to get better and better too, phenomenal really.
an original creative soul…was lucky enough to see The Sugarcubes on their first tour of the US in Georgetown university around late 80’s. Great performer
The B side of Bowie’s Low album. It inspired me two decades ago to greater things musically… I really need that now, all I do musically is fix broken gear, workaround bugs and trying not to get infected by GAS whilst trying to get inspired on music and art related forums.
I am not depressed, but we’re getting there fast!
One before I hit the hay
I am super into Patten lately on warp. That last album with Epsilon/Sonne was just great. The beat on sonne is simple yet strange, it’s almost like an anti-beat
The video is beautiful and dream like in a “post vapor wave” way (I can’t believe I just said that)
probably a repeat… one of my favorite albums, by one of my favorite sound artists
this whole L.I.E.S. release really
