What Are You Listening To Lately (Part 1)

Actual DM

This came out midnight this morning, it’s the only thing in my queue atm. Picking out the details I love and really trying to identify the emotions being invoked.

One of the things I really love is how Surachai does a write up after each album. It’s extremely interesting to read about the process creating the music and art.

based out of chicago - no elektron machines that I know of, but 808,909,sh-101, etc. (the greatest hits)

also –

Beau does not use any Elektron – he barely even uses MIDI!

CV seq., then yeah

because they’ve been kicking it for 25 years, and if you love a 303 and don’t know who Hardfloor are, you don’t love a 303

Amuse bouche…

This is a great listen

I listened to Drunk by Thundercat maybe 100 times after it came out. Great stuff.

Lately, Siriusmo. Comic just came out.

Still listening to The Digging Remedy by Plaid quite a bit.

New Clark EP was fun, though I still listen to Death Peak more often.

The piles of new tracks on that Warp Records Aphex site. (Orphans is so straight forward, but so good.)
