Really loving the new Jon Hopkins album “Immunity”, probably the best album I’ve heard in years. Reminds me a lot of Secede’s “Vega Libre”, just so good sounding and flowy.

Ah, yeah, I like that new Hopkins album too, but never thought of it being like Vega Libre (fantastic album as well). Have you heard the record Kettle and Secede did together? Really weird, got some kind of baroque touch to it.

I was listening to Basic House & Prostitutes - Mirror & Gate Vol. I yesterday while drawing. Zoned me out completely. Basic House’s stuff very dark. One track with a loop of a distorted church bell ringing, really nice atmosphere. Basic House is one of my new favorite artists, I think, he releases some really odd things.

Never heard of this guy before, Latvian guy, makes some stunning stuff! Released an incredible record on Entropy Records in June. Some top notch sound design and composition on display. This particular song is supposedly his tribute to Syd Barret.
