What Are You Listening To Lately (Part 1)

He’s good live too. L.I.E.S is consistently coming up with great releases. NGLY and KWC92 in particular are outstanding.

@Unifono @phaelam Oh you sweeties

@123alastairj I haven’t listened to any “modern” EBM, but this is kinda alright. Something about the attitude is missing; I still don’t think you can do better than Nitzer Ebb, DAF, F242, and releases from Germany in the early 90s.

Can’t get much more heart-pounding than this:

I’m listening to whatever burned-CD I have in my car. This week it was AE live (Glasgow, Domino), FSOL - Dead Cities, Field Day Live, t e l e p a t h テレパシー能力者 - 星間性交, and other random stuff.

Speaking od EBM, The Horrorist just came out with a new 12" : https://aufnahmeundwiedergabe.bandcamp.com/album/programmed

It’s really good. I love this guy and everything he puts out. Fire Fumania and Manic Panic are classics.

Yes, love Nitzer, but at the same time wouldn’t want to listen to a bunch of bands trying to cop their style/attitude wholesale - better to just listen to Nitzer
