just saw them live - by far the best people-with-instruments kinda show I’ve seen in a long time
This mix brings back so many hazy memories of my first Shambles! I was going to see Excision and this older woman approached me asking where he was playing. I led her to the village stage and along the way she said her grandson was performing after him.
“Datsik is his stage name, he plays very loud music that shakes our house every night!”
Still one of my favourite memories from that surreal festival.
