And I always always come back to YMO
holden has come a long way
I’ve been listening to Etta James “At Last” on repeat for a couple days. The string sound and melody/harmony is absolutely top notch! I’ve gotta find something to play those 60s sounding strings. Love it!
Dubby soul with a very nice and subtle dub siren.

Even though I recently acquired a vintage 1967 Fender Jaguar, what I really want to do is make an entire album using only small snippets of sampled vinyl- kind of like what Gold Panda and others do. It’s definitely a lot more difficult than it sounds. Lots of work and lots of listening. But the AR+OT combination seems perfect for this challenge.
Wow.
Huh?
It was a response to the Silent Strike video a few posts above mine. Great video and music.
My first exposure to this artist was him and his band opening up for The XX on their US tour that we caught in Ohio a couple weekends ago.
Always nice when the first exposure is live.
He and the band had a pair of Analog Keys on that rainy stage.
