What Are You Listening To Lately (Part 1)

found on the channel, Hate, on Youtube.

The strait up traditional Bedouin synth lines have me wondering about conception and connection to the culture, which I find to be the most down to earth and most cosmic music. At the same time I’m all for sharing, but when its so heavily derived it seems appropriate to be included with the info of release, some sort of credit of homage…

It reminds me of the ACID ARAB release(s), which was very respectful culture and ideas, it seems at least.

…researching as I am writing…
Andacht is german for prayer, as, I’m sure, a lot of you already know.
This is telling enough, but to know the piece used would be nice, could be original but it sounds so authentically traditional I am thinking it is a certain historical piece…

Not trying to police or anything, just respect music, especially pre modern, transcendental masterpieces…

Any Bedouin or Arab techno that could be recommended would be awesome!

he definitively spent some money for modules

I did’t appreciate it enough when it came out, but had it in the car for the last three days and I am really excited. One of his best works imo.

Seeing pics and video of a great show out in Seattle last night had me jamming my GS Sultan tapes and vinyl this morning. Wish I were at the show instead, but it worked in a pinch

The tragic death of ChrisCornell, has led to digging out my Soundgarden vinyl

I usually get my daily badassium requirement from Space Bananas, but this helps if I’m on the road traversing the galaxy and have a ways to go before the next health planet…
