Yeah that’s the problem with pre-release tasters!
The man is unstoppable, by far my favourite though is this hard/dark beauty…

To clarify above, I meant Gerald Donald, I know Dopplereffekt are more that one but he himself is behind some of the greatest music ever made…

all the way… The Dirtbombs
(Garage Rock from Detroit) and its great cover from the same city

And would you know it, an OT is center stage…

Is Laughing Stock massively underrated? I would have thought it is one of the most critically-acclaimed albums there is! Still, it’s fantastic either way.

you know Beak ? i think you could like it

Not very fond of collaborations usually but Qebrus (in various spellings) really is the most interesting sound designer I’ve heard for many years…
Anyway this has the funk too and is well worth a rinse on the cans.

Is amongst the philistines i know!
They cant get it. Each to their own.
Mark hollis resonates with me in a way i cant explain. I heard a smattering of songs on an old tape someone i didnt know randomly gave me which we played on a really 80’s boombox while camping in the local woods. It had assorted Astral weeks tracks, Waterboys tracks ( This is the sea - wow ) and ( already one of my favourite albums of the time ) New gold dream. So great

I love Sade, never heard of doom but from the looks of his mask and his name doesn’t draw me…
I might give a listen though…, I like to stay Open…

I do but I haven’t paid that much attention to the albums. Thanks for reminding me !

I know zero about hiphop past circa 96 but some point this Doom track found my ear/stayed in memory. I should prob check out more but I’m too long out the game… Wouldn’t know where to begin -

Really liked that Ep they did not long back, think it was called kaeb?

Well, that was actually pretty fun sounding, I guess now I’ll check out the Sade remix. His mask reminded me of the Dimond Saints, which is less my cup of tea…
