IIRC This was achieved on a Roland D-50.
I used to knock about with Simon and his brother Matt (Universal Everything) when this was released. A really interesting time hanging out, seeing them develop their respective talents/careers. They were living in East Croydon at the time. A house full of graphic designers, musicians, photographers.
So happy this dropped yesterday. Hoping they do a show near me. The Dilla one live blew my fuc$ing socks off.
I loved this album, shame their second one was way less interesting!
