What Are You Listening To Lately (Part 2)

Yes. Not that it’s absolutely necessary, it feels like DOMi got it pretty well covered. Amazing talents!

I’m not even that fond of jazz, but this is mesmerizing.
So tight.

Really enjoyed watching Wombo on stage yesterday evening.

And today there’s a new release from Clark:

It’s on loop today… one of those nights. Perhaps top 3 track of all time…

The whole album Spira is astonishing, and being the debut album of a young artist is nothing less that a musical miracle. She is not only gifted of a great talent but is also an artist with a great songwriting attitude. Her music is modern and ancient at the same time, her ispiration come from a timeless place.
I’m hard listening Spira from some months and always find a new beauty in that bunch of traks. To debut with a so powerful work of art is beautiful but can also be a problem for an artist, I hope that Daniela will be able to menage her genius.
The acoustic performance has even more power than the electronic tracks of the album, it may be a new direction? Time will tell…

Trance Classics delivered again.

Tapir! might be my favorite band at the moment. They used a digitakt on their last album, but I don’t think I hear it in this one

Can’t put the finger on which band of the 00’s it makes me think of, but I can clearly remind myself listening to such kind of sound 20 years ago… Lovely, thanks.

Something like Real Estate, Belle & Sebastian, Fleet Foxes, Sufjan Stevens, DeVotchKa a little, and all that sort of folksy indie stuff. Didn’t listen to too much of that back then, but it definitely is a sound of that time.
