which office depot do they work at?
Ha! The video kept popping up in my recommendations feed on YT and I thought it was a gag because the thumbnail looked goofy. I finally gave in and peeped it and it was not what I was expecting at all. But I guess that thumbnail worked!
There’s another video where they wear matching Adidas tracksuits and another video where they wear matching sweater vests. And I could not be more charmed by it!
Wow, real good indeed.

I keep meaning to check out more Scott Walker, this is a nice start.
Ahhh, so they weren’t actually brothers!
News to me.
For a basic overview:
Walker Brothers’ singles are often really great 60s pop, with the odd gem here and there.
Scott 1 - 4 contain a huge amount of great music, with some MOR schmaltz thrown in here and there, Scott 3 being probably my favourite.
Scott’s four tracks on Nite Flights are for me the start of the comeback, and everything from this point forward is gold. I count this run of records as an equal to anything else in music.
Cool, nice to get a bit of background colour.
It’s funny but loads of musicians I really like always cite him as a major influence and I like most of what I hear from him but I’ve never really dug deeper. Until now.
He does great stuff.

Free download of an excellent bit of ambient noise released on a small label associated with Chain Reaction before being taken on by Robert Henke. Worth a listen if you like texture and slowly shifting drone works.
New Tortoise, glad they’re back:
Kinda like this one
Oooh, thought they’d called it a day at this stage.
They toured in 2023 and have a new album on the way. Looking forward to them going back on tour, haven’t seen them in ages.
On most days I’d say this is my favourite song ever. I also love the first four solo records. Have to get my hands on the Scott Walker documentary again soon.
