I just discovered Bachar Mar-Khalife last weekend. I’m so hooked that haven’t been able to play anything else or even play my synths.
Amazing hybrid of Arabic, French, jazz, and classical traditions. Very sparse but complex arrangements. Hauntingly beautiful vocals.
