That is tough to hear and eerie. My condolences.
one of my fave Detroit techno production/producer. Afro-Futurism at it most subterranean
I have to say it was a really weird feeling.
I was painting with acrylics today and when I switched from Tim Hecker to this my style went from gentle to ultra violent pretty fast.
So good, canāt believe I didnāt know about these guys
if you havenāt watched/listened to this whole show yet, youāre in for a treat!
Not only is it really funny, but his music is great, and really well done.
Carl Craig is good etc, but his tracks can be very very long and monotonous sometimes.
But they often feature in my mixes.
ā¦And thank you for Nate Smith ! canāt believe i wasnāt aware of this monster !
About Peter Thomas, itās a goldmine. Raumpatrouille is the absolute blast but all his discography is amazing ( he composed the OST for Big Boss).
Que du bon !
Yeah, heās a goldmine
Check Vulfpeck if you like some funk, heās been playing with them lately: some tracks are pretty fun ^^
Ho i will ! I know little of Vulpeck but now iām more curiousā¦
Going delightfully off-track with my Bandcamp curations:
Mechanical Piano, is a direct consequence of him buying a beat-up old grand piano that was spray-painted blue, and that had generally seen some really heavy use.
Instead of trying to make it sound like a modern concert grand he removed all the unnecessary parts and discovered there were lots of mechanical sounds inside the instrument.
Been enjoying this album which Iād describe as exuberant baroque JRPG veggie tales. Started listening to Orange Milk records after hearing Surgeon mention it on Why We Bleep podcast. Interesting pieces all around this label and this is one of the more digestable Iāve found.
Never listened to any of his solo work - not what I was expecting, and really good!
