Interesting version of Selfoss in the middle. The original is a masterpiece.
Entertaining enough as a live performance but I miss the other members⌠backing tracks arenât enough IMO. Their production around this era was amazing tho, so dialed in.
I hardly missed any of the Blood Sugar nights at the Blue Note. Super good times. Weatherall was no doubt a big pioneer of dub techno, but hardly gets credit for it. Maybe because it wasnât his only niche. Then again, part of his brilliance was he never got stuck in a niche.
Rest assured Iâm more than just a bit jealous. Unfortunately, I never got to see the big man spin, or visit the Blue Note.
