I looked through the manual and couldn’t find it. I am trying to write a preset for my MPD232 so I can trigger the pads with my MPD.

Not in front of my RYM right now, but pretty sure that it is the first 12 notes on the auto channel
EDIT: checked the notes with the latest firmware update, and that’s true. Looks like there was a bug in the previous version, so best to update to 1.22B
Send the midi to the RYTM on the channel that you have AUTO Channel set to .
Trig 1 is C -2 ( negative 2 )
Trig2 is C# -2
and so on.
this is how I control my RYTM from LIVE.
have to use the lowest midi note available
otherwise each pad is assigned a midi channel
Trig 1 is 1
trig 2 is 2
and so on .
you can set each pad to whatever midi channel you want in the midi config/midi channel section but i noted what is the default settings.
