After years of mucking around with Laptops, sequencers and Virus Control I think I have finally got my perfect setup.

Octatrack in the centre sending MIDI to my Virus TI and transport to my Analog Four. All audio going to my Roland Octa-Capture with Logic taking care of recording audio.

I now have the tight MIDI control over the Virus, the power of the A4 owns sequencer and of course the sampling side of the Octatrack. ALL in perfect time…Love this Octatrack!!

The Octacapture comes in really handy with the OT. Once OB lands and fees up the OT’s inputs things are going to get even more interesting for me. Really looking forward to it.

Have been tempted to add a Virus but then I look at Omnisphere 2 and just think “wow”. Got the GAS to add something though to the Dark Trinity and laptop/Live set up…

Overbridge! I’m too lazy to type it out. OB will mean the AK/AR flowing straight through USB rather than OT (or Octacapture) and I can the use the OTs inputs for sends or ad hoc input recording.

And I woke up this morning and everything still sounded great, it was´t just my imagination late last night :-))
