I just received my Overhub from Electron today, and before I even opened the box I could hear a clanking racket inside. Taking the hub out it immediately struck me that there must be something loose inside of the hub itself because the whole internal part is like loose and shakes around noisily. Is this typical of the Overhub units?
Mine doesn’t make any clanking rackets.
My unit is silent and feels solid too… I guess you should have it replaced. Is it working properly?
Ugh. yeah, mine was a noisy rattling mess. I took it apart and made it better by adding some tape to the edges of the board so it would sit tightly in the housing. It is now silent and solid. Not sure yet if it is functioning properly… I need to upgrade to Sierra first apparently. Only getting 2 machines connected at current.
