Weird clipping sound on input B of Octatrack

This really weird thing happens with my octatrack mk2 where audio coming into input 2/B almost sounds like it’s clipping but it’s on the beat (it’s not clipping btw).
Digitone master output coming into input B/2 as a thru Machine and I’m hearing this ‘clipping’ sound through the headphone output and the master outputs of the octa.

I’ve tried almost everything to resolve it but haven’t been able to.

Anyone else had this issue and was able to solve it?

Clipping on the beat you say?
What are your AMP page settings?
Any accidental plocks on the Thru machine trig?
Does it do it with scenes muted?
Did you try a different input?
Whats your Mix page settings?
Welcome to the community, by the way!

Check headphones mix also.

Thanks for the replies.
So i realised it’s because I’m trying to create a sidechain in the LFO section by ducking the amp volume. super annoying that doing this creates artefacts.
Really hoping that they will create a fix for this.

Not ideal, but the filter tends to handle modulation a little bit better than the amp. You could try filtering to duck the volume? I understand it would have a tonal difference to a volume change, but give it a shot, you might find it’s a bit less zippery and get you in the ballpark of what you’re looking to achieve.
